Medical Treatment and Eye Emergencies
Sheridan Eye Care’s doctors can help treat many eye diseases such as glaucoma, dry eyes, allergic eyes, or an eyelid stye. We can also help with the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. If you are diabetic or have macular degeneration, you should have your eyes checked yearly to make sure that there is no bleeding/leakage in the retina.
Many other health conditions can have visual side effects. For example, auto-immune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, sarcoidosis, multiple sclerosis (MS) can produce retinal and neurological problems. Many other diseases can affect the health and well-being of your eyes.
Our doctors are trained to diagnose and treat most medical emergencies. If you, or a loved one, has had any sudden redness, discharge, or sudden loss of vision – This is a medical emergency and you need to get treated right away.
