Dr. Sappal

Dr. Aman Sappal has been practicing optometry since 2000 after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Sappal practiced at the QueensCare Family Clinics in Los Angeles, California – A group of clinics that provide health care for the indigent. While there, he served as Chief of Optometric Services for the four clinics, as well as Chief of Mobile Vision Services. The Mobile Vision Program provided low-income students enrolled in the Los Angeles Unified School District over 30,000 pairs of glasses per year at no cost.

After moving back to South Florida, Dr. Sappal worked at the Pannu Laser Institute in Fort Lauderdale. While there, he had the chance to work with many ocular disease patients with conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Dr. Sappal has been in private practice since 2005 and has locations in Southwest and Northwest Broward.

Dr. Sappal has been married since 2002 and has two sons. When he’s not spending time with his family, he likes to travel, work out, read, and play with his sons. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Punjabi.

Dr. Mark E. Goldberg

Dr. Goldberg has been a practicing optometric physician in Coral Springs for over forty years. His undergraduate education was obtained at the University of South Florida and later attended optometry school at the New England College of Optometry. After graduation, he completed an internship at the State University of New York, Optometric Center where he specialized in children’s vision and visual perception problems.

He is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, an organization which specializes in children’s’ vision disorders. He was also a participant in “Infant See”, a project to diagnose and treat vision problems in infants. During his career, he was named “Broward County Optometrist of the Year”. He was also a member of the advisory committee to the Broward County Schools regarding learning disabilities in children. He was also chairman of the Lions Eye Bank of South Florida.

Dr. Goldberg has been a resident of Coral Springs since 1975 and has been active in many community projects. His interests outside of optometry are numerous. He has enjoyed seeing many of his younger patients “grow up” with my practice. They have become not only a part of his practice but also his friends.
